Path Navigator Mentoring Program

The Path Navigator Mentoring Program enhances the new student experience by linking them one-on-one with a peer mentor. Students are paired with a current student at Greensboro College who is invested in helping them succeed throughout their first year — a person ready to listen, inspire, help navigate challenges, and recognize opportunities. Students will learn what to expect in school, how to approach challenges and other advice from someone who knows what it is like to be a student. At the same time, mentors will build their networks and develop skills to become better professionals and leaders.

Mentors and mentees meet at least once per month. However, they have control over what works for them. The program runs one full academic year and ends in April 2022. Mentor training is required. We offer flexible training times including evenings and weekends. If for some reason a mentor cannot make either, we will work with them to figure out other options. Do to popular demand, space is limited.
