Alumni Award Nomination Form

The deadline for nominations for the 2024 awards is Feb. 28, 2024. If you wish to nominate multiple individuals, you MUST submit a form for each individual.

The deadline for nominations for the 2025 awards is Feb. 28, 2025. If you wish to nominate multiple individuals, you MUST submit a form for each individual.

Distinguished Alumni Award

  • Be at least 35 years of age.
  • Have a continuing interest in Greensboro College.
  • Be active in the community and religious affairs.
  • Have demonstrated outstanding service or accomplishment in his/her personal or professional life.
  • Be present or represented at the alumni awards ceremony.

Alumni Excellence Award

  • Be at least 35 years of age.
  • Have contributed outstanding service and achievement as a humanitarian, professional or volunteer in his/her chosen endeavors.
  • Have demonstrated commitment, integrity, and success in his/her chosen endeavors.
  • Be present or represented at the alumni awards ceremony.

Young Alumni Award

  • Be younger than 35.
  • Have demonstrated outstanding service and achievement as a humanitarian, professional or volunteer in their chosen endeavors.
  • Have demonstrated commitment, integrity, and success in their endeavors.
  • Be present or represented at the alumni awards ceremony.

Additional nomination letters or files for consideration may be sent to julies@greensboro.edu and ehenry@greensboro.edu or mailed to the Office of Alumni Programs, Greensboro College, 815 W Market St., Greensboro, NC 27401. Please note these must also arrive by the February 28 deadline.

Joshua currently studies astrodynamics at Virginia Tech University and is an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. Candidate.
