Activities

Student Activities and our Student Clubs and Organizations host various events and programs for students all throughout the year! We encourage you to find ways you want to get involved, enjoy the times to take a fun and relaxing break, and get to know your fellow students outside of the classroom! Whether it’s an energetic game show with cash prizes, a mind-blowing magic show, one of our annual traditions like Late Night, our AMAZING Bingo games, an educational yet entertaining speaker, a great performance, or just a chance to hang out with fellow club members- there’s always something happening at GC!

Your options are endless. We give you the tools and opportunity, and you determine your future. College is your
time to find out what truly inspires you. Connect with those who share your interests, or discover new passions. We have a variety of student organizations to get involved with. If you don’t find one that calls to you, gather some friends and start your own!

Students play a strong role in organizing, leading and creating clubs, organizations and honoraries on our campus. Activities outside of the classroom offer opportunities to pursue special or new interests; to gain personal, social and leadership skills that will be valuable throughout life; and to meet others with interests similar to yours.

The overall goal of the Office of Student Activities is to create ways for students to enhance their educational experience outside of the classroom through connections with other students and the Greensboro College community.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple. We serve as the gateway to campus involvement. The Office of Student Activities is responsible for fun and engaging campus-wide student events and programs, the coordination of all student organizations, and organizational funding, management of the student center locations, a major resource for annual traditions such as Homecoming, Late Night, Spring Fling, and other special events, plus facilitation of leadership and training development.

It is our hope and belief that Student Activities will assist in growth of student groups and individuals to their fullest potential. In a broader sense, we are responsible for providing programs and services that promote educational, recreational, social, and personal growth. Individual student development is a major focus of the office. By having students actively participate in all aspects of campus life, they will become better citizens and future community leaders.
