Greensboro College is offering a Project Management Professional Certification Program on Thursdays beginning Oct. 25.
The college has teamed with experienced, credentialed PMP instructors to offer the globally recognized Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
According to the Project Management Institute Inc. (PMI®), PMP credential holders can earn $20,000 more annually than non-credentialed jobholders.
The PMP is the gold standard in project management certifications, which validates the PMP’s skill set and capability to lead a team and projects, stay on budget and meet organization’s timeline goal.
A projected 2.2 million new project management jobs will be created around the world each year through 2027, according to the Project Management Talent Gap Report.
This in-class, 12-week program meets the 35 contact hours required for the exam and prepares students to sit for the PMP examination. Greensboro College has partnered with The CertWise® Learning System for PMP® Exam Preparation training text and materials.
Classes will meet 6-9 p.m. Thursdays on Oct. 25; Nov. 1, 8, 15, and 29; Dec. 6 and 13; Jan. 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31.
The program fee is $1,788 and includes books and materials. Exam and application fees are the responsibility of the student.
