Greensboro College Recognizes Top Freshmen, Sophomore Scholars (4/24/2017)

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has given the Wilkinson Award to 49 freshmen and sophomores who rank highest in their classes academically.

To be eligible, freshmen must have at least 14 hours of credits for grades (other than P) at Greensboro College and a minimum grade-point average of 3.6 for all work at Greensboro College. If they have transferred credits, they must also have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 on all college work.

Sophomores must have at least 45 hours of credits for grades and a minimum GPA of 3.6 on all work at Greensboro College. If they have transferred credits, they must have at least 15 hours of credits (other than P) at Greensboro College and must have a minimum GPA of 3.6 on all work at Greensboro College and a cumulative GPA of 3.6 on all college work.

The award is named for the 14th president of Greensboro College, Dr. Howard C. Wilkinson.
