Greensboro College Offers Certification Programs for Human-Resources Professionals Beginning March 23

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College will offer two certification programs for human-resource professionals on Saturdays this spring beginning March 23.

In cooperation with the Human Resource Certification Institute, the college will offer the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) classes on Saturdays, March 23, April 6, April 13, May 4, May 18, June 1, and June 15.

The courses are ideal for experienced HR professionals wanting to expand their knowledge, skill set and current HR roles; professionals seeking a comprehensive review to prepare for the SPHR or PHR exam; and individuals reentering the HR field requiring an overview of current practices.

Student will learn from a highly qualified and experienced instructor who has taught SPHR/PHR exam-prep courses for more than 14 years. Classes are every other Saturday, which enables individuals to continue to work full time. Small small class size enables more one-on-one guidance and personalized instruction.

Cost of the courses is $1,288 each, which includes books and materials, or $1,388, which adds an online component to the books and materials. Exam and application fees are additional and the responsibility of the student.

“I loved the GC Honors program and Greensboro College. I felt safe and a sense of genuine belonging at the college. I worked closely with my thesis advisor and professors who helped inspire me to define my path and passion of interest. That path has led me to my doctoral studies in Engineering Mechanics.”
