Preparing for college can be confusing, but we’ve got you covered. Follow these steps and you’ll be on your way to being a Greensboro College student. Remember, as soon as you know you’re ready to enroll at Greensboro College, you should submit your $200 deposit to save your spot.
Checklist for Accepted Full-Time Undergraduate Students
As an accepted student, you must take several important steps to enroll at Greensboro College. Follow this checklist to ensure you’re ready for move-in day! Remember, your Pride Page will be your “home base” as you submit your deposit and fill out the required forms to officially enroll, so be sure to hang on to the username and password you create.
1. Accepted Student Day
Accepted Student Day is an opportunity to celebrate your acceptance into Greensboro College and experience campus in a new way. To learn more, go to our Visit Page for updates.

- Hear from professors across a variety of academic disciplines about what sets Greensboro
- College apart from other schools
- See where you’ll live, eat, sleep and hang out
- Have the opportunity to grab some free swag
- Find out your next steps to becoming a part of the PRIDE!
2. Set Up Your Pride Page
The Pride Page is designed to help you through the enrollment process. It gives you access to your Financial Aid, Student Accounts, and forms for Enrollment, parking, and so much more. Follow the Pride Page directions and you’ll be on your way to becoming a Greensboro College student. Access your Pride Page at https://grn.empower-xl.com/
3. File Your FAFSA and Explore Financial Aid
Have you filed your FAFSA? If not, please go to FAFSA.ed.gov. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is your opportunity to receive help with college expenses. Beginning October 1, you may submit your FAFSA. Remember to include Greensboro College as a FAFSA recipient. Our school code is 002930. 4. Send In Your Deposit
The only way to guarantee your spot in the upcoming class is to send in your deposit of $200. The deposit is encouraged by May 1, but if you need more time, please contact us at email@example.com. You may log into your Pride Page and pay online at https://grn.empower-xl.com/. If you prefer, you may send a check, money order, or pay by credit card.
5. Register for PAWS Orientation
Offered three times during the summer, PAWS is an orientation program for incoming students and their families. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet faculty, staff, and new friends. You’ll also benefit from advising and finalizing your course schedule for the upcoming fall semester. You will meet other incoming first-year students and Pride Leaders (current students who will show you the ropes), and you will gain an overall feeling of comfort and confidence upon arriving for the fall semester. 6. Complete Enrollment Forms
Be sure to complete your Housing Form, Release Form, Parking Forms and Disability Voluntary Disclosure Form (optional) once you have deposited. You will also need to sign up for GC Alert and complete the Sexual Misconduct Prevention Training on your Pride Page. Once you receive your Greensboro College email, you will need to check for important information on your health and immunization.
