Greensboro College will be hosting its annual Give4GC 5K Run/Walk on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at 6 p.m. The 5K, which will be held rain or shine, will begin and end on the Greensboro College campus and the route will go through nearby streets, such as Spring Garden Street and South Josephine Boyd Street. Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
