High School Seniors!

Greensboro College invites high school senior women to the Women in Business Workshop & Scholarship Day, an on‑campus event to explore business majors and careers, hear from successful local businesswomen, learn career skills, and compete for scholarships, including one full‑tuition award. Register now!

  • Begin a career journey in business and related fields like accounting, supply chain management, marketing and more!
  • Start your resume and take a professional photo
  • Meet and learn from several women professionals in successful fields
  • Attend workshops on essential career skills
  • And compete for numerous partial and full scholarship dollars to attend Greensboro College
  • A resume to build and add to later
  • Women in business certificate
  • Career and life advice from a multitude of professional women
  • An opportunity to compete and win one full tuition scholarship (valued at approximately $100,000) or one of five $13,500 scholarships

Women in Business Workshop and Scholarship Day

  • 8:15 a.m. – 8:40 a.m. Registration
  • 8:45 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Introduction and keynote speaker
  • 9:40 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. Session 1 begins
  • 10:20 a.m. – 11:05 a.m. Session 2 begins
  • 11:10 a.m. – 11:35 a.m. Session 3 begins
  • 11:45 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Networking lunch with top women business leaders
  • 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Scholarship interviews*

*You will be assigned a timeslot for your interview. You will also have
an opportunity to participate in various activities before and after your
timeslot – see list below.

(optional) Activities:

  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Current Greensboro College students talk about their internships at Greensboro College
  • 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m. & 3:30 p.m. Resume writing workshops
  • 2:00 p.m. – 4 p.m. Professional headshots taken
  • 2 p.m. Women’s basketball game
  • 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. Business Faculty open house
