GC Votes

Make your voice heard in this year’s 2026 Election! To register to vote in North Carolina, you must meet the legal requirements to vote and complete a voter registration application. If you have not already registered to vote, you may do so on Greensboro College campus.
Voting and College Students
While in college you can register and vote in the jurisdiction of your residence, but you may only have one residence. If a college student considers their school address to be their residence, they can register and vote in the county where the campus is located.
Am I registered? How Do I verify it?
To verify you are registered and that your voter record is correct, check your status on the National Association of Secretaries of State website. Make sure you do it well in advance of your state’s voter registration deadline. If you live in North Carolina and want to check your registration status, click here.
Researching Candidates
This provides an opportunity to research all of the candidates on your ballot so that you can make informed decisions. One tool for researching candidates is the Vote 411 Voter Guide.
