The Online Psychology program is a 124-credit-hour program that allows students flexibility. Students who graduate with the degree have earned 40 credit hours of required courses in the major (see below), 32 credit hours in general education, 8 hours for the B.A. or B.S., and 44 credit hours of elective, transfer and/or experiential credit. Those who have already earned an associate’s degree or are close to earning one may complete the program in as little as two years. Students who do not have an associate’s degree have the opportunity to design their program plans with challenge exams, experiential credit and elective courses that fit their needs. In fact, because Greensboro College also offers an online degree-completion program in Criminal Justice, students have the unique opportunity to earn a minor in Criminal Justice while fulfilling degree completion requirements.
