Greensboro College’s Tannenbaum-Sternberger Colloquium Nov. 2 Focuses on Social Inequality
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College’s Tannenbaum-Sternberger Colloquium Series continues Nov. 2 with, “Social Inequality: How Two Women’s Stories of Facing Barriers Has United Them in Creating a Bold Movement to END Local Poverty,” presented by Nadine Malpass, Senior Vice President, Resource Development, and Michelle Gethers-Clark, President and CEO of the United Way of Greater Greensboro.
The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 3 p.m. in the Campbell Lyceum, 109 Proctor Hall West on campus. A reception will follow.
The event is part of the 2018-2019 colloquium series, “The Informed Citizen.”
The Tannenbaum-Sternberger Foundation, which underwrites the series, is a private foundation that strives to improve the quality of life for the people of Guilford County, N.C., by funding projects that make a difference in the lives of the people in the community.
