JOB SUMMARY
The Assistant Dean of Students for Title IX and Student Support provides strategic leadership for student-focused Title IX compliance, behavioral intervention, and student support initiatives. As a senior member of the Division of Student Development, this role oversees processes that promote a safe, equitable, and supportive campus environment while advancing institutional goals related to student success, retention, and well-being. The Assistant Dean serves as a key advisor on complex student matters and ensures alignment with federal regulations, institutional policy, and best practices.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership in Title IX Compliance
- Serve as the primary leader for student-related Title IX processes in coordination with the College’s Title IX Coordinator
- Oversee the intake, investigation, and resolution of Title IX cases, ensuring prompt, equitable, and compliant practices
- Provide expert guidance to campus stakeholders on Title IX regulations, risk mitigation, and student safety concerns
- Train and supervise staff, hearing officers, and investigators involved in Title IX processes
- Monitor and assess institutional compliance efforts and recommend policy or procedural improvements
- Maintain oversight of case documentation, reporting trends, and data-informed decision-making
Strategic Student Support & Retention
- Provide leadership for student support and case management systems, including Early Alert and behavioral intervention referrals
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with academic affairs, counseling, residence life, and other units to support student success
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives within the Division of Student Development to improve retention, persistence, and student engagement
- Oversee parent and family engagement strategies, including communication plans and educational programming
- Analyze student data and feedback to identify trends, inform planning, and enhance the student experience
Student Conduct Administration
- Serve in a senior leadership role within the student conduct system, including adjudication of complex or high-level cases
- Provide oversight of students on disciplinary probation and high-risk cases
- Ensure that conduct policies and procedures align with institutional values and legal standards
Campus Leadership & Collaboration
- Serve on divisional and campus-wide committees related to student success, safety, and compliance
- Support a campus culture of care, accountability, and inclusion
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of divisional and institutional priorities
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Student Development, Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or related field required
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in student affairs, including leadership in Title IX, student conduct, or case management
- Demonstrated experience leading complex processes
- Strong knowledge of Title IX regulations, student conduct administration, and behavioral intervention practices
- Excellent judgment, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion, fairness, and professionalism
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
