Humanities Minor

Greensboro College Students selected for the prestigious George Center for Honors Studies have exclusive access to our Humanities minor. This 24-credit minor culminates in a senior honors project, providing a platform for independent research and critical analysis. Students explore courses like The Basic Questions, Stories We Tell Ourselves, and Understanding the World. Dr. Josh Fitzgerald earned his master's from Virginia Tech University (studied astrodynamics) as well as earning an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. He joined the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX as an Advanced Mission Design Engineer, optimizing trajectories for the Artemis II and III missions to return humans to the moon.
