Greensboro College Offers Associate Professional in Human Resources Certification Course Beginning Jan. 25

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College will offer an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR™) certification course beginning Saturday, Jan. 25.

The course will meet from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 25, Feb. 8, Feb. 22, March 7, and March 14. Program fee is $788, which includes books and materials.

Greensboro College has joined with the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), the governing body of the SPHR and PHR exam, to offer this program. The aPHR is the only HR certification created for individuals who are just launching their professional HR careers.

The aPHR credential will display foundational knowledge of HR practices and demonstrate to an employer that you have the skill set and qualifications for a promising HR career. Upon successful completion of this 30-hour program and the aPHR exam, the student will be eligible for this professional certification in the HR field.

The course is ideal for recent college and high school graduates, career changers, professionals wanting to expand their current HR roles, individuals looking to launch their HR careers, and military members transitioning to a new profession.
