Greensboro College Names Megan Whitcomb Residence Life Coordinator

Megan WhitcombGREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College has named Megan Whitcomb ’14 its residence life coordinator in the college’s Office of Student Development.

Previously, Whitcomb had worked for three years in the college’s Office of Admissions, first as an admissions counselor and then for the past year as senior admissions counselor and visit coordinator.

Prior to joining the college staff, she served at Keiser University in Pembroke Pines, Fla., as student services coordinator, organizing graduations and other events, advising the Student Government Association and other student organizations, and assisting students with internship and job placement.

Previously, she had worked as assistant operations manager for a fitness center in South Miami. During the spring of her senior year at Greensboro College, she interned for the Greensboro Sports Commission, helping organize a variety of sporting events, managing volunteers, and hosting weekly Sports Council lunches.

She holds a B.S. in exercise and sport studies from Greensboro College, where she was a member of the women’s basketball team and the cross-country team and served as a Pride Leader (freshman advisor) and student ambassador in Admissions.
