Greensboro College Department of Music Presents – Eric Chilton with the GC Jazz Ensemble

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College Department of Music presents its Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, in the Huggins Performance Center on campus.

The program will feature musician and award-winning reporter, Eric Chilton. A two-time Emmy winner, as well as an AP award winner, Chilton is a member and lead singer of the band, Eric and The Chill Tones.

The Jazz Ensemble will be presenting the music of Frank Sinatra, as well as music from the libraries of Count Basie and Thad Jones.

Admission is free, and the public is invited. Masks are required within the indoor space. Free parking is available behind the college’s Admissions Welcome Center at West Market Street and College Place.

According to Benjy Lee Springs, Greensboro College Director of Bands and Music Professor, “The band has an awesome chemistry and Eric is amazing with an audience. He has a tremendous following as a TV personality and does a great job as a lead singer.”
