Business Marketing (B.S.)
Students gain a strong foundation in marketing, consumer behavior, financial and business analytics, and marketing research, while also building practical skills in communication, strategy, and business operations. A required internship and a four-course “Careers in Business” sequence ensure students graduate not just with a degree, but with real career readiness.
For students who want to specialize, the major offers two concentrations built for where marketing is headed: Digital Marketing, covering everything from digital marketing analytics to social media strategy and growth hacking, and Professional Sales, focused on relationship-driven selling, negotiation, and sales leadership.
Both concentrations are taught in part through the Lower Cost Model of Independent Colleges Consortium (LCMC) using Rize Education, giving students access to specialized, industry-relevant coursework in a flexible online format.
Whether a student’s future is in brand strategy, digital campaigns, market research, or sales leadership, Greensboro College’s Marketing major offers the tools, mentorship, and hands-on experience to turn that future into a career.
