Greensboro College Hosts Panel Discussion for Students and Young Professionals Oct. 2

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College will host a panel discussion, “Growing Greensboro for the Next Generation: How Higher Education, Real Estate Developers and Economic Leaders Are Working Together to Grow Greensboro,” 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Campbell Lyceum, 109 Proctor Hall West on campus.

Admission is free; however, those coming are asked to RSVP online. Students at the city’s eight institutions of higher learning are especially welcome. Parking will be available behind the college’s admissions office at the corner of West Market Street and College Place.

The discussion will feature Lawrence D. Czarda, Ph.D., president of Greensboro College; Brent Christensen, president and CEO of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce; and Arthur Samet, president and CEO of Samet Corp.

A question-and-answer session and networking opportunities will follow.

The event is sponsored by Campus Greensboro and SynerG. Campus Greensboro is a nonprofit aimed at attracting and retaining bright talent to meet the needs of Greensboro’s developing economy. SynerG is a networking group for Greensboro professionals younger than 40.
