Checklist for Accepted Full-Time Undergraduate Students
As an accepted student, you must take several important steps to enroll at Greensboro College. Follow this checklist to ensure you’re ready for move-in day! Remember, your Pride Page will be your “home base” as you submit your deposit and fill out the required forms to officially enroll, so be sure to hang on to the username and password you create.
1. Set up your Pride Page
Follow the directions in your acceptance packet to set up your Pride Page. You will need your student ID number, which can be found on the bottom left of your acceptance letter.
2. File your FAFSA and explore financial aid
Have you filed your FAFSA? If not, please go to FAFSA.ed.gov. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid and is your opportunity to receive help with college expenses. File your FAFSA by March 1 for priority consideration. Be sure to add our school code to the form: 002930. For more information about financial aid, visit www.greensboro.edu/financial-aid or email the financial aid office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. Register for Accepted Student Day
All accepted students are encouraged to attend Accepted Student Day on Saturday, March 17, 2018. This is your chance to connect with future classmates, meet professors and learn about classes in your intended major, hear from financial aid, housing, and student services, and explore campus on a whole new level! Register online now.
4. Send in your deposit
To guarantee your spot in the upcoming class, we require a deposit of $200. The deposit is due on May 1, but as soon as you know you want to attend Greensboro College please let us know by submitting your deposit. You may also pay your deposit online through the Pride Page Portal.
5. Register for PAWS orientation
Offered over the summer, PAWS is a one-day orientation program for incoming students and their families. This required program is an excellent opportunity for you to meet faculty, staff, and new friends. You’ll also benefit from early advising and finalizing your course schedule for the upcoming fall semester. You will meet other incoming first-year students and Pride Leaders (Orientation Leaders), and you will gain an overall feeling of comfort and confidence before arriving for the fall semester. Dates for Summer 2018 are Fridays, June 15, June 29, July 13, and July 20. A transfer-student-only PAWS session will be held on Monday, July 23.

Whether you intend to live on or off campus, please complete the Housing/Commuter Application and let us know your plans. This is how you make your living, eating and parking arrangements. Learn more about Residence Life at Greensboro College.
7. Access your new Greensboro.edu student email account
After May 1, you will be emailed directions to access your new Greensboro.edu student email account. Be sure to log in as soon as you can, change your password, and begin checking that email frequently for updates!
8. Take care of your health
Greensboro College is privileged to be partnered with Magnus Health to provide you greater access to your health records and enhanced service in the student health center. Once you have paid your deposit, you will be added to the Magnus health system and will receive a welcome message from Magnus to your Greensboro College email account. DO NOT DISCARD your welcome email. This email will give you log-in instructions. All students will be required to log in to Magnus, and you will be instructed to set up your password immediately. Feel free to look over all the features available in Magnus, especially the required forms.
New students are required to submit a complete immunization record and copy of your insurance card. If you have already mailed/faxed your immunization records, we will transfer them to Magnus.
All students must pay a one-time $25 health-services fee the first time you log into Magnus. This fee covers your access to the health center, including lifetime access to your medical records online through Magnus. All of your medical records, including your health history, examination notes, health chart, immunization records, test results, athletic training documentation, etc., will be available to you through your personal account with Magnus. You may access this account at any time, even after you graduate.
9. Complete Title IX training
Around May 1, you will have access to this training in your Pride Page and greensboro.edu email address. Be on the lookout for further directions.
10. Complete a disability voluntary disclosure form (optional)
If you would like to obtain services for a disability, please fill out the Disability Voluntary Disclosure form on your Pride Page. This ensures that our Office of Academic Accessibility can provide needed services to help make your time here successful.
