Payment Options

There are multiple options available to students to pay their account balance each semester. In addition to convenient direct payment options, students can also take advantage of financial aid, a monthly tuition payment plan, various loan options, or a college savings account (if applicable).

Direct Payment Options

Online Credit Card Payments

Payment for your semester bill can be made directly through your Pride Page. Students will need to access the “Student Account & Payment” web page that is located under the “Billing & Your Student Account” tab.

In Person Payment

Direct payment can be made in person during regular business hours at the Office of Student Accounts (located in Office 107 in the Main Building on campus). The Office of Student Accounts can accept the following forms of payment: cash, checks, certified check, and debit/credit card.

Payments via Phone

Students can call the Office of Student Accounts to make a debit/credit card payment over the phone. Payment can be made by calling the office at (336) 272-7102, ext. 5388 during the hours of 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Payments via Mail

Payment sent through the mail must be recevied by the college prior to the first day of classes. In order to ensure that payments are sent directly to the Office of Student Accounts, send all mail payments to the following address:

Other Options to Cover Your Balance

Apply For Financial Aid – File the FAFSA

Students should apply for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Office of Student Financial Services will use your FAFSA to offer you grants, scholarships, and low-interest federal loans (if eligible). We also recommend seeking out additional scholarships from outside sources. For more information about outside scholarships, click here.

Monthly Tuition Payment Plan

Greensboro College has partnered with ECSI to offer a monthly tuition payment plan for our students. Our Tuition Payment Plan is a payment option that divides your remaining balance into manageable monthly payments. Monthly payments are due by the 10th day of every month. We offer payment plans for the following:

  • Traditional and Adult Undergraduates
  • Graduate Students
  • The Piedmont Alternative Licensure (PAL) Program
  • Visiting International Faculty (VIF) in the Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program

Please Note: The monthly tuition payment plan CANNOT be used for books, parking permits, commuter meal plans, or prior term charges.

Traditional Undergraduate Payment Plans

If you are pursuing your first bachelor’s degree and are under the age of 23, you are considered a Traditional Undergraduate Student. There are 11, 10, and 9 month payment plans available throughout the year that divide your annual balance into equal monthly payments. These payment plans have a limited enrollment window and an initial $80 enrollment fee.

Federal Direct PLUS Loan for Parents

The Parent PLUS Loan is a federal loan offered to eligible parents of dependent students. If approved, the loan may be used to cover your remaining balance. If not approved, you may be offered additional Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loan funds. Your parent will need to complete the loan application online at StudentAid.gov using their Parent FSA ID (the same username and password that was used to sign the FAFSA).

Private Student or Parent Loan

Private lenders and banks offer private educational loans to qualifying students and parents. In most cases, the student or parent will need a creditworthy co-signer to be approved for the loan. Terms and conditions are set by the bank or lending institution. Florida Prepaid

If your parent has signed up for Florida Prepaid, you can use the plan to help cover part of your remaining balance. Your parent will need to contact Florida Prepaid and let them know that you will be attending Greensboro College. You or your parent will also need to contact the Student Accounts Office to inform them that they will be using Florida Prepaid to help pay for your cost of tuition.

Private College 529 Plan

If your parent has opened an account for a Private College 529 Plan, you can use the plan to help cover part of your remaining balance. Your parent will need to contact Private College 529 and let them know that you will be attending Greensboro College. You or your parent will also need to contact the Student Accounts Office to inform them that they will be using a Private College 529 Plan to help pay for your cost of tuition tuition.
