William K. MacReynolds, Ph.D. in Economics, is the founding Dean of the School of business and also Chair of the Department of Business Administration and Economics at Greensboro College. After teaching at Cornell University and Ohio State University in the 1970’s, Dr. MacReynolds began a 30-year career in Washington, D.C. He taught at George Mason University, was a senior economist at the Federal Trade Commission and at the MITRE Corp. He was the Director of Economic Forecasting at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and a member of BlueChip Economic Forecasters from 1989 to 1993. He returned to teaching in 2010 at Greensboro College. His major interest is to teach how markets work and what propels economic growth. He is blessed with four children and six grandchildren.

Joshua currently studies astrodynamics at Virginia Tech University and is an Engineering Mechanics Ph.D. Candidate.
