UAAS Movie: “Selma”

The United African American Society will host a free screening of the movie “Selma” at 2:45 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, in the Sternberger Center on the garden level of Jones Library. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. A discussion will follow.

The movie, starring David Oyelowo, Carmen Ejogo and Tim Roth, chronicles the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s campaign to secure equal voting rights via an epic march from Selma to Montgomery, Ala., in 1965.
