A panel consisting of Lawrence D. Czarda, Ph.D., president of Greensboro College; Brent Christensen, president and CEO of the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce; and Arthur Samet, CEO of Samet Corporation will discuss “Growing Greensboro for the Next Generation: How Higher Education, Real Estate Developers and Economic Leaders Are Working Together to Grow Greensboro,” 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, in the Campbell Lyceum, 109 Proctor Hall West on campus.
The event is sponsored by Campus Greensboro and SynerG. Campus Greensboro is a nonprofit aimed at attracting and retaining bright talent to meet the needs of Greensboro’s developing economy. SynerG is a networking group for Greensboro professionals younger than 40. The event is free and open to the public; however, organizers ask that those planning to attend please RSVP. Students of the city’s eight institutions of higher learning are especially welcome.
The discussion will run from 5:30 to 6:15, followed by a question-and-answer session and a networking session.
Parking for the public will be available behind the college’s Admissions Welcome Center at West Market Street and College Place.
