Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society Induction

Greensboro College’s chapter of the Kappa Delta Pi Education Honor Society will induct 11 new members at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 31, in the Sternberger Cultural Center on the garden level of James Addison Jones Library. The event is free and the public is invited.
The keynote speaker, Freebird McKinney, is the 2018 North Carolina Burroughs Welcome Teacher of the Year. McKinney, who taught for several years at Grimsley High School in Greensboro, now is a social studies teacher at Williams High School in Burlington. McKinney also has served on Greensboro College’s Teacher Education Advisory Council.
