JOB SUMMARY:

Greensboro College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Lacrosse Coach. This is a part-time
position with opportunities for professional growth and expanded responsibilities. The successful candidate will
assist the Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach in all aspects of operating a competitive NCAA men’s lacrosse program
and demonstrate a strong commitment to student-athlete development, recruiting, and the mission of collegiate
athletics.

Greensboro College is a private liberal arts institution located in downtown Greensboro, North Carolina, serving
approximately 1,000 students. The College is a member of the USA South Athletic Conference.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Program Operations

Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of managing and operating the men’s lacrosse program.
Develop and implement practice plans, drills, offensive and defensive schemes, and game strategies.
Assist with opponent scouting, film breakdown, and game preparation.
Coordinate and help develop youth camps and clinics.
Assist with gameday and event operations in collaboration with athletic department staff.
Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.
Manage the men’s lacrosse equipment inventory and distribution.
Assist with team travel planning and logistics.

Recruiting

Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes
Travel to high school games, showcases, and tournaments throughout the recruiting calendar.
Assist with maintaining recruiting databases and coordinating recruiting efforts with the Admissions Office.

Additional Responsibilities

Assist with athletic department game management responsibilities during the lacrosse offseason.
Support the management and growth of the men’s lacrosse social media presence.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach and Athletic Department

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
One to three years of lacrosse coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
A genuine desire to build a long-term career in collegiate coaching and athletics
Demonstrated commitment to the development of student-athletes both on and off the field.
