GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro College will offer a certification course for the Project Management Professional Certification and Certified Associate in Project Management beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3.

The course will meet 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays through Nov. 19. Program fee is $1,788 and includes books and materials.

The program meets both the 35 contact hours required for the PMP exam as well as the 23 required hours for the CAPM exam. Greensboro College has partnered with The CertWise® Learning System for PMP® Exam Preparation training text and materials.

According to the Project Management Institute, PMP credential holders can earn upward of $20,000 more annually than non-credentialed jobholders. The PMP or CAPM certification validates your skill set and capability to lead a team and projects, stay on budget and meet organization’s timeline goal. A projected 2.2 million new project management jobs will be created around the world each year through 2027, according to the Project Management Talent Gap Report.
