GC Alert is an advanced emergency notification system:
- It sends text and voice messages to cell phones, landline phones, wireless PDAs and smartphones.
- It’s also designed for email alerts, RSS feeds and iGoogle, MyAOL or My Yahoo! pages.
- This is voluntary and you may choose to opt in or opt out at any time.
- Once you register, you can add additional services, such as an email address not registered at Greensboro College or up to two other text messaging devices.
- You can also edit your contact information at any time.
- The choice is yours!
