The Admissions Staff

Listed below you will find contact information for each member of the Admissions Office. Current high school students can determine who their admissions counselor is by the state in which they attend high school. If you attend a North Carolina high school then your counselor is determined by your high school's zip code.

Hi! I am your admissions counselor if...

  • you attend high school in North Carolina and your high school's zip code begins with 280-282 or 286-289.
  • you attend high school in South Carolina, Georgia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, or any state not listed with another admissions counselor.
  • you attend high school in a foreign country.

I have been a member of the GC family since 2004, when I enrolled as a freshman. I was born and raised in the eastern part of North Carolina and always knew I wanted to attend GC because I wanted to follow in the footsteps of my grandmother, who graduated from GC in 1947. I started working in the Admissions Office a few short months after graduation. GC is truly a special place, even more so to me because I met my husband here. I encourage you to come and visit so you can see all that GC has to offer.

I have been on the faculty of Greensboro College since 1985, teaching German and, more recently, in our M.A. program in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). In 2002 I began working as an academic counselor with adults and transfer students seeking undergraduate and advanced degrees. If you are an adult or transfer student, you will see me when you register for the first time. But feel free to contact me at any time with questions about our academic programs here at Greensboro College. I know what excellence we have to offer.

Hi! I am the point of contact for all students who would like to re-enroll at Greensboro College. I also serve as manager of all admissions records.

I came to GC as a freshman in 1991 from Reidsville, N.C., and never left! I spent four years as a student and was involved in everything from SGA to the inaugural women's lacrosse team to Residence Life to Student Ambassadors. I loved my time at GC so much that I began working for the Admissions Office less than a month after graduation. I cannot imagine working anywhere else! I live in Reidsville with my husband, Daniel, and our daughter, Allie, who I hope will become a member of the Class of 2031 here at GC.

I am your admissions counselor if:

  • you attend high school in central North Carolina and live in zip codes beginning with 270-274, 276 and 277.

I am originally from Ohio, where I had a blast playing soccer during my undergraduate years! Being involved in college is important, and here at Greensboro College you have the opportunity to be an athlete, an actor, a student tour guide, a member of student government and much more. The best way to see whether a college is right for you is to visit, so please check us out and let me know if I can help you along the way!
